Welcome to the website for the Computer Lab at Herbert A. Wood Elementary. Students in Grades 2 through 5 come to the Computer Lab once each week for 1 hour. While in the lab students work on academic and technology skills. Compass Learning Odyssey is used by all students to practice language arts and math skills. Fast Math and Leapfrog Math are also used by all students to practice math skills while in the computer lab. Students are learning to use Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word to publish classroom writings. We also use the Internet for research and webquests.
Class Announcements PowerPointsStudents in Grades 3-5 have been practicing PowerPoint skills by making Valentine's Day PowerPoints.
